“As it turned out, Moncks Corner was plenty tough enough to bounce back from an 11-8 loss to Hanahan, winning four games in a row to claim the district’s spot in the Dixie Darlings state tournament in Seneca.
Moncks Corner blanked Bluffton 11-0 and Colleton County 14-8 to set up a pair of encounters with Hanahan for the crown. Moncks Corner won the first game, 14-8, and coasted in a second game, 12-4, for all the marbles on June 25.”
